St. Paul's Children's Sunday SchoolSt. Paul's Church offers Children's Sunday School during our 10:30 AM Service. Children begin and end the Service with their parents in the Church. During the sermon time, children then leave the Church and walk to the Parish Offices with the children's leader of the day. After the sermon, the children return for the Peace and Communion to finish the service with their parents. We believe that this format benefits both the children and the parents in many ways, including keeping the families together for most of the worship — families are too isolated as it is, we do not want to add to it during worship, and teaching the children how to worship — so many adults today do not know how to worship because they spent their childhoods in the Sunday School room. Children's Sunday School is an important part in our ministry to children and families. We believe in the necessity of teaching our children how to worship, pray and read the Bible. Our Sunday School curriculum is centered around the liturgy of the day, so children usually get the same scriptures their parents are hearing during the Service. This provides a great starting point for families to discuss and reread the scriptures of the day, further encouraging families to grow together in their knowledge and understanding of God's Word.
